Though many of you have probably heard, it's about time that I make the formal announcement here: I'm engaged! Erik and I have a long and hilarious history involving a too-good-to-be-true summer when I was 17, seven years of silence, and a shocking letter followed by the reunion that has led us this point. Engagement, that is. You can read about the proposal here if you'd like.

We are having a small family wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica in May. It will be a low-key event, on the beach at sunset, and we are SO excited. When we get back from Costa Rica, we will have a big reception to which you are all invited, of course. So start getting me those addresses!

Other big news: Krista is getting married in only three weeks! Though I am excited for her, her marriage means a big move to Ottawa, Canada, for an indefinite period of time. (Coincidentally, one of my roommates also recently got engaged, and is moving to Canada in December. What's the big deal about Canada, anyway?) Krista's move will be a big loss, but it's about time she and Tyler tied the knot.

I'm still working at Huntington as Director of Education, not much news there.

That's all for now!

Wow! I have not checked thing thing in a long time. Unfortunately I don't appear to be alone. I just wanted to give a quick update of my life. Jessica and I are expecting child number 4. I am 26 years old and I will have 4 children 3 1/2 years of age or less. The doctors are unable to tell me at this time what the gender of baby 4 will be, but I am convinced that it will be a male. I must convince myself of this to make it through the day. 4 daughters would be "fun." (please note that the previous line should be read in a sarcastic way)

Other then that life is amazingly a lot like the last time I posted. Everything is going sweet. I should get back to work. Talk to you soon.
